Located on the shores of Lake Michigan, The Alder Planetarium offers a range of educational exhibit and the stories of humans pusuing the ultimate truth of the universe. Each story is unique, but similar at the same time. Though the paths differ—whether aboard different spacecraft or through various discoveries—each explorer shares a common purpose: the pursuit of the ultimate truth about our place in the cosmos. They paved the way for our exploration of the boundless universe, but some of them never came back. They became the brightest stars in the night sky and continue guide us towards our next success.

Instead of writing Astrophysics knowledge on this post, I’m going to talk about the history of astronomical exploration and the real environment astronomers were in when completing a mission in outerspace.

Below is a story that I could never forget. It’s about a boy who chase his dream. It’s about a boy who bravely chase his dream. It’s about a boy who was undeterred by any resistance to his dream. With unwavering courage, he faced every challenge head-on, refusing to let anything stand between him and his ultimate goal. This is the story of Robert R. Lovell, an aerospace engineer who inspire thousands of young people to pursue careers in science and technology and other fields they are genuinely interested in.
